DB Sheetmetals Ltd was formed in March 1987 by Derek Brown. The company has seen
a vast growth over the years and it now occupies two units in Piperell Way, Haverhill.
The growth has been achieved by DB Sheetmetals skilled workforce, who use the company’s
investment in new equipment to great effect. The business pursues a policy of continuous
improvement which resulted in an ISO 9001 accreditation in January 2001 and they
pursue any job from design through to delivery.
The products that DB Sheetmetals manufacture range from complex to intricate electrical
components, through to large commercial refrigeration equipment. They specialise
in the production of shop fittings, office furniture, industrial modems, high-tech
stainless steel, office storage and aluminium chassis. The company maintain high
quality and ‘on time’ deliveries and they make this their main objective. They pride
themselves on their saying “exceeding the customer’s expectations” and the standard
of work and the wide range of facilities available help them live up to this.
The high quality worked produced by DB Sheetmetals reflects both the commitment of the staff and the continuous investment that the company has made in manufacturing equipment and technical expertise.
Plant includes The Amanda Quattro Laser Profiling machine, Tube Bending machine, the new Turret Punch Press purchased in May 2006, EMZ 3510 which is capable of working with sheet sizes 1270 x 5000 x 4.5mm and an electric machine that provides more efficient means of punching in terms of cost and maintenance, are just a few of the company’s most recent investments. The capacity and efficiency of these machines ensures that DB Sheetmetals remain highly competitive in their market.
